Verizon created shared services to cater to the needs of all its entities. Verizon also implemented PeopleSoft Financials to meet its business needs. While these initiatives offered various benefits, they also brought challenges that Verizon needed to overcome to realize the benefits and ensure faster ROI.

Our Solution

Verizon chose dotSolved SMEs in select areas to analyze, design, and implement its PeopleSoft Financials system.

dotSolved and Verizon jointly led the project. dotSolved provided consulting services in various modules including Account Payables, Expenses, Purchasing, and Project. dotSolved also worked on various business unit mergers including mergers with Alltel.

Phase 1 of the project concluded in just 10 months. The next phase was also completed in less than a year. dotSolved continues to work with Verizon, providing subject and technical expertise in various areas.
